Biography
MARK KEELER (Sound Designer/Engineer) Off-Broadway shows include; The Boyfriend, Les Misérables, South Pacific, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Fiddler on the Roof, Jekyll & Hyde, SPAMALOT, White Christmas, Wizard Of Oz and A Chorus Line. Mark started his theatrical career at the age of eight with Our Gang Players at Surflight Theatre, where he acquired skills for all aspects of theatre. Our Gang Players shows include; Mame, Music Man, PeterPan, How To Succeed In Business, Elf Jr., Crazy For You, High School Musical, Beauty and The Beast, and Drowsy Chaperone. Bellarine Theatre Company shows include; Bat Boy, Urinetown, The Producers, Dogfight, and Spelling Bee. He toured the country for two years with Judy Collins Wild Flower Tour, along with Richie Havens, Roger McGuinn, and Janis Ian, all before the age of nineteen. Mark has worked with various artists throughout his career, including; Kevin Bacon, Tommy Tune, Harry Connick Jr., Fred Grandy, Jim Breuer, and George Carlin. He also had the pleasure of working the 2008 visit of Pope Benedict XVI at Yankees Stadium. Mark has recently won three International Music and Entertainment Association award (IMEA) for best sound design of a musical, The Last 5 Years, Godspell, and Mame. Mark has recently been inducted in to the 2019 NJACT Hall Of Fame as a sound designer.
